Institute of Social Awareness & Reforms (ISAR) - Yavatmal is a registered, non-profit, secular, voluntary organization working in the field of rural development since 1994. ISAR specific objectives to solve the livelihood, health, education, social and watershed issues, which are greatly interlinked. Its registered office is at Kumbha a village in Maregaon block of Yavatmal district in Maharashtra and head office is situated at Yavatmal. Organization is working with most ignored, socially and economically oppressed communities to achieve the sustainable development with a focus on women empowerment. Empowering community based organizations and work with them for sustainable development especially by managing local resources are major concerns of the organization.

Objectives of the Organization

1) To strengthen the capacities of the farmers for collective efforts and sustainable management of agriculture activities with effective use of government various schemes.
2) To build the capacities of village level, block level and district level Community based organization for income generation activities.
3) Enrollment of socio-economically deprived children's in the education system.
4) To encourage women's for involvement in the development process and income generation activities through small and Micro enterprises
5) To build capacities of farming communities on watershed development and micro irrigation activities
